My name is Bismarck! I come from a huge family. We all lived on the farm and well one thing led to another and the family just kept getting bigger. The farmer then got in trouble by animal control and the rescue had to step in to help. My whole family is very sweet. We are just little old country desert dogs. I am around goats, kids and other dogs. I seem to like them all.
Mama
Mama is a sweet, gentle Boxer mix—well, that’s our best guess, considering her mysterious past. She was found with her puppies in tow, probably wondering how she ended up with such a rambunctious bunch. Now that they're all fixed, chipped, and ready for their forever homes, Mama can finally focus on her favorite pastime: wrestling with her pups and showing them how to be top-notch dogs. She's been an excellent role model, though we're pretty sure she secretly dreams of a couch and a TV remote. My name is Larry. I came from a house that had an overpopulation problem. I am about a year old. I am a pomeranian/cattle dog mix. We believe someone jumped the fence too so we are not sure what else is mixed in there. I am also very sweet. I obviously get along with other dogs. There was 38 of us on the property. Introducing Popok, the little cuddle queen with a heart as big as her love for big dogs—and blankets! This tiny girl might be small in size, but when it comes to affection, she’s got a heart that’s larger than life. She’s known for showering the big dogs around her with kisses, probably thinking, “I may be small, but my love is huge!” Popok doesn’t let her size stop her from being the most charming pup in the room.
Popok’s favorite spot in the world? Her top-secret mission to burrow under blankets. If there’s a warm spot in the bed, you can bet Popok’s already claimed it. She’s a certified nap enthusiast and has mastered the art of cuddling, often leaving no room for anyone else. You’d think she invented snuggling!
While we’re not sure who Popok’s dad is, she definitely inherited the lovable spirit of her Chihuahua mix mom. She’s always ready to play with other dogs and seems to think every game is an Olympic event—speed, agility, and nonstop tail wagging included. And when it comes to kids, Popok is a total natural—always eager to make new friends and share her snuggles (as long as they don’t steal her blanket spot).
